Techfem participated in the definition of the document UNI/PdR 38:2018 “Electronic marking of underground networks and infrastructure in the subsoil”
The Ente Italiano di Normazione (UNI), the Italian standardisation body has published the recommended practice n. UNI/PdR 38:2018, a reference point in the field of trenchless technologies. The document provides a framework specification available for operators and engineering contractors in relation to aboveground and underground marking of buried service infrastructures.
This piece of work is the result of a cooperation between UNI, Unindustria and IATT: Italian Association for Trenchless Technology. It has been developed in a technical workshop “Systems of underground infrastructure detection: the markers” by a selected team of specialists working for industry leaders, such as Telecom Italia, 3M, Fastweb and Techfem.
