Hydrogen Valley – Lamezia Terme

IMI is supplying a 2 MW PEM electrolyser for the Hydrogen Valley project under development in Lamezia Terme, Italy. The installation will be located on the brownfield site of the former SIR industrial complex and is designed to produce 400 Nm³/h of green hydrogen at 40 barg – approximately 36 kg/h.

Following the completion of the preliminary design phase and the acquisition of the required permits, Teca Gas s.r.l. awarded the EPC contract to Techfem. The scope of the contract includes executive design, safety coordination during the design phase, and full construction of the facility.

The facility is expected to become operational by 30 June 2026.
