Techfem at Fosforo – The Festival of Science

We were thrilled to take part in the 15th edition of Fosforo, the renowned science outreach event that has been turning Senigallia into a vibrant meeting point for science, curiosity, and innovation for years—engaging both adults and children through interactive workshops and hands-on experiences.

On the City Stage in Piazza Roma, our CEO Federico Ferrini, together with Luigi Scopelliti, Councillor of the Municipality of Fano with a delegation for Smart City initiatives, presented the Bellocchi Smart City project.

This initiative, promoted by the Municipality of Fano, sees Techfem and our sister company Energie playing a leading role as key partners.

The project aims to revitalize the Bellocchi industrial district, starting with listening to the needs of citizens, companies, and entrepreneurs.

Here are the project’s identified priorities:

🔹 Multi-functional public spaces
🔹 Smart waste management

A strategic project looking to the future, with a 2034 horizon, to help build cities that are smarter, more livable, and inclusive.

After the presentation, we moved to the Main Stage in Piazza del Duca, where our colleague Giulia Montaldi engaged young children in the “Techfem Energy Workshop”: an opportunity to learn how renewable energy works and see our hydrogen-powered machine in action.
