CCS – CO₂ Capture and Storage

Reducing CO₂ production and developing technologies capable of capturing it before it is released into the Earth’s atmosphere.

Carbon dioxide recovery, utilization and storage

CO₂ is one of the main by-products of combustion and industrial processes and is recognized as one of the primary greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. For this reasonit is essential to adopt alternative processes that limit its generation or, alternatively, to develop technologies capable of capturing it before atmospheric release.

From CO₂ to synthetic fuels and energy carriers

We are engaged in the development of innovative capture processes based on mineralization and in the valorization of CO₂ not as waste, but as a resource, in line with the principles of the circular economy (CCU).

Our engineering expertise includes the development of CO₂ recovery systems, complete with the associated balance of plant, aimed at producing synthetic methane from green hydrogen and captured CO₂.

We also provide our know-how in transport systems for flow assurance studies, risk assessment and the design of onshore and offshore CO₂ transport pipelines toward geological storage sites (CCS).

We support clients throughout all stages of project development, from feasibility studies to detailed design, addressing the technical challenges associated with the complex transport and management of CO₂.
